Subject of tender
Mercy Corps Tanzania invites eligible, reputable, and licensed medical insurance providers to submit their Intent to Bid for the provision of a Comprehensive Group Medical Insurance Scheme for Mercy Corps national staff and their eligible dependents.
The successful provider will deliver comprehensive medical insurance services effective 1 October 2026, with an initial contract period of nine (9) months, renewable for an additional twelve (12) months subject to satisfactory performance.
How to obtain the Intent to Bid Form
If you are interested in submitting a bid, complete an individual Intent to Bid Form and submit it according to the guidelines below.
- Request the Intent to Bid Form by emailing tz-procurement@mercycorps.org, clearly indicating the tender number in the subject line.
- Or collect the form from the Mercy Corps office: Mercy Corps – Dar es Salaam Block C, Plot 383, 4th Floor | Mwaya St. Corner | Toure Drive, Masaki, P.O. Box 32503, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Submission deadline and method
Completed Intent to Bid Forms must be submitted by Friday 14 August 2026, 4:00 pm (the closing date stated in the tender announcement) through one of the following methods:
- Email the completed Intent to Bid Form to tz-procurement@mercycorps.org, indicating the Tender Reference Number and company name in the email subject line.
- Deliver the completed Intent to Bid Form in a sealed envelope to the Mercy Corps office above, clearly indicating the Tender Reference Number and company name on the envelope.
Only service providers that submit a completed Intent to Bid Form before the deadline will receive the Request for Bid (RFB) documents.
Important note
No fee or payment is required to participate in this tender. Vendor selection is conducted independently of bid collection. Please report any request for payment or other irregularities to integrityhotline@mercycorps.org.
