Direct Entry Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Professional Registration: Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.
- Location Commitment: Must be ready to work for considerable lengths of time in the Dodoma region where the project is located.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing structural drawings and reports for conformity to applicable standards and technical specifications.
- Inspect, review, and approve materials and completed structural/drainage works to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Prepare daily mini-progress reports, including updated cost tracking for drainage works.
- Maintain a daily site diary using the content and format approved by the Employer.
- Execute any other related project tasks assigned by the supervisor.

- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in a related field.
- Project Experience: Must have served as a Topographical Surveyor on at least two (2) road projects of similar magnitude and complexity within the last six (6) years.
- Location Availability: Must be ready to work in the Dodoma Region for considerable periods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise field survey teams, plan field operations, and establish or confirm all control points.
- Conduct pre- and post-construction topographical surveys and establish survey control plans for GPS and LPS equipment automation.
- Perform primary layouts for earthworks, pavements, structures, and drainage/pipe systems.
- Maintain daily written records, perform analytical calculations, and lead survey operations on site.
- Search legal records for geodetic reference points and national benchmarks; verify data accuracy to determine boundaries and prepare survey plans, maps, and reports.
- Inspect construction works for compliance with technical specifications and review designs to verify dimensions and quantities.
